The stereo sideboard: media centre at the push of a button

The high-quality music system is a real eye-catcher. However, you don’t always want the technology to be the centre of attention in the living room. A media centre that only appears when it is wanted is a tidy solution in this case.

The Häfele experts have come up with a sympathetic storage space wonder with their living room sideboard. The push of a button changes the perspective in the location where an elegant shelf was waiting discreetly in the background. Now an electric lifting device opens the furniture so carefully that even filigree decorative objects maintain a secure footing on the surface of the shelf.

When it is closed, the elegant shelf remains discreetly in the background.

The multimedia system in the sideboard

The entire home multimedia system appears: music system, speakers, Blu-Ray player and beamer all have a secure place here, as does the collection of favourite CDs and DVDs. With so many electrical appliances, you also need high-quality sockets. On the subject of electrical devices: the rear of the sideboard consists of a stainless steel ventilation grille so that the home media centre is always well ventilated.

The integrated illumination provides an overview of the spacious interior and also provides pleasant reading light if required. All you need to do to get more reading light is swivel over one of the flexible lamp arms.

It was a stool just now, and now it’s a speaker

Additional speakers provide good sound all around. But they are only used if required. The push of a button suffices to make the speakers disappear. In their place, cosy stools invite you to take a seat – and you won’t hear a sound.
